Why We Built Bell

At Home with Bell is a Presence-as-a-Service™ platform born in San Antonio, TX. We are going to be straight with you about how this started.

One of our co-founders needed a contractor to come to the house. She could not be there. She had work, she had a full day, and the idea of just hoping a stranger would handle things correctly in her home without anyone there to watch was not something she was okay with.

She needed someone she trusted. A real person. Not a Ring doorbell. Not an app that shows her a camera feed. A person who could be present, who could look the contractor in the eye, verify their credentials, and make sure the job got done right.

That service did not exist.

We kept waiting for someone to build it. Nobody did.

Building a Presence-as-a-Service™ Platform in San Antonio

So we opened our laptops and started. This was not some grand vision we had for years. It was a real moment with a real person and a problem that had no solution. We built the first version of this Presence-as-a-Service™ platform in a week. Every decision since day one has been shaped by the homeowner experience, not assumptions about what women homeowners need.

We have not raised money. We have not hired a team. We are two people who know this problem is real because we lived it, and we are building something that actually solves it.
